Legend League Cricket is a professional league cricket tournament. This League is for retired star cricketers. The first Legend League Cricket was played in Oman for the first time in January 2022. The League's unique format will witness competitive cricket, unlike any other exhibition match. However, the tournament was played from 20 January to 29 January at AL Amerat Cricket Stadium in Oman. Ravi Shastri, the former Head Coach of the Indian Team, was appointed as the commissioner of the LLC. Legend League Cricket announces the list of available players for the second season of the League on Sunday. Almost 80 international and Indian players, including Daniel Vettori and Ricardo Powell, committed their availability. According to the official media release, these players will be available for pick up by the franchisees. The overall pool of cricket players now stands at 85 from 10 countries worldwide. The new edition of Legend League cricket will be held in India. Moreover, it will have private franchise-owned teams.
