Australia is the defending champions and won the previous edition of the ICC World Cup 2022 in the UAE. The tournament begins on October 16 with the opening round for Group A and Group B. The opening round lasts until October 21, after which the Main Event begins with Super 12 teams. Australia and New Zealand will play the first game of the Main Event on October 22nd. The final is scheduled for November 13 at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
